Browncoat green eyes ebook

From here on out we're just following the crew of the Serenity, which will include a green-eyed pilot named Harry. Mar 24, Just read the prologue, and I have to say that I love it already. I can't wait for the next chapter to come out. Just one question, you said that Harry was married, and I was just wondering; was it Luna? You don't have to answer it if it's part of the plot, I was just curious.

Heh, completely misread that part, thanks for the reply. As I said, very original story, with much humor, as I'm used to reading from you. Will Harry run into the Alliance more, or will it be similar to Farscape, where the main characters almost always just barely evade the followers? I suppose it might be considered a minor spoiler, but yeah, his wife was Luna.

I may have mentioned it in other threads, and it's been stated on my yahoogroup, so not exactly a state secret. In the fic, I think it may not come up until a midnight conversation with Zoe. Harry may cross paths with the Alliance, as well, it is the only government. But he certainly won't be supporting them much. And it's not like they know he exists, but on occasion he may need to break into Alliance facilities to help his "man" on the inside.

The big bad government is one of the antagonists, so it will play a role, just not a huge one. And certainly not as focal of one as the Prologue may have misled you to believe. It's the crew and the ship from here on out. I liked the Movie Serenity.

Firefly, never saw it so I might get lost. Joined: Jun 4, Messages: 6, Gender: Male. Finally posted here, eh? Well, I've already told you this story is great. I cant say much more than that She is kinda like Luna in a way Keep it up Nonnie. So much so, that I've re-watched Serenity just so I can mentally re-produce the voices right. I'm not the only one who does that, right? The next few chapters become a bit less subtle, though Harry may have something of a foot fetish before I'm done.

Not going to really have all that much romance, but I'm sticking with pretty much canon relationships or hints towards. I'm not entirely sure Jayne is capable of loving a female. You know, and respecting her too. So we'll see if we get to that or what. And yes, I always hear the dialogue in the character's voices. The sort where Hermione is always petulantly whining, with the occasional slutty grin, and Dumbledore is always imparting sage and confusing advice, with the occasional ever so slight chuckle.

Hagrid on the other hand, sometimes sounds like Scotty from Star Trek in my mind. Can't really explain that one. Firefly's the same way for me. I hear the actors even more so for that one, because they had voices established before I ever read any fic or scripts. I've been completely impressed by the response to the Prologue. I mean I can't find but a couple Firefly fics with even reviews and they had like 20 or 49 chapters. I've had the prologue up a day and have Makes me think the field needs some more fics.

That's a call to arms, ladies. Get writing. Just popped in and saw this going to read it now and see how it is. Though I know I'll get confused, seeing as I've never seen serenity and only saw one episode of firefly and it wasn't the first episode Just read first chapter and I think I'll keep an eye on this one for a while.

I like. Nice nonjon. Mar 27, Mar 28, Went to Borders and Barnes and Nobles last night. Neither had that little ten dollar graphic novel. Going to try the comic book shop tonight and if nothing else, order it online. Thanks for the heads up. I remembered hearing about the "those left behind" comic a few times but didn't realize it actually bridged the main parts of history like that. Maybe they'll answer some of my other questions like how there's normal day and night, on all these planets at different distances and intervals from A cd of music, a comic book, a tv show, and a movie.

Considering the variety of medium it's used there really isn't that much history in this fandom. Oh well. Just posted Chapter Two if anyone's interested. Harry with a tea obsession, I like it. Good job. This is the one story I am looking forward to more than any other now.

Honestly, it would be more surprising if anyone even glanced at her as she coughed her lungs up. That was the unspoken rule in Night City. Eventually, her body settled down from its rebellious streak, though her breaths still came out ragged and short. She wiped the blood she had coughed up on her torn jeans before, weaving through the crowd of people standing in the entrance to the Afterlife..

The guard at the main door nodded his head at her as she approached, opening the door when she stepped past the crowd.

She slipped through the door, entering the bar proper. The loud lights and booming music nearly drowned out the various conversations that were taking place.

A tightness formed in her chest as she did. The last time she was here was with Jackie. He was so giddy that day, so sure they had finally hit their big break. If only he knew what it would cost.

If only they both knew. V pushed the grief to the back of her mind. She wiped a hand over her face, noting that it came back bloody once more. Probably from one of the nosebleeds her ripperdoc had warned her of. There was a bathroom near the entrance that she quickly ducked into. The mirror revealed the truly horrible state she was in. Her eyes were sunken in slightly, and her usual vibrant purple hair hung down in a limp tangled mess. A line of blood, smeared slightly from her wandering hands, had trickled out of her nose.

She splashed some water on her face making sure to clean up the leftover blood. Without the blood dripping out of her nose she looked marginally better. Still a far cry from where she had been before getting shot in the head, but that was probably a good enough excuse. She stared at her reflection once more, her brown eyes staring right back. It was the only thing about herself she hadn't altered in some way. Even when she had upgraded optics installed, she had insisted on her eye color staying the same.

Some sense of individuality she supposed, considering that eyecolor was usually one of the first things people would change about themselves. She shook her head, pushing away from the sinks with a huff and straightening the jacket she was wearing. It was an old brown Samurai jacket she had found a few years ago during her nomad days.

While she had held no special love for the old band, a point her newest guest was quite miffed with, she had bought the jacket during a hard winter and the damn thing had kept her from freezing to death in her car.

After that quick trip down memory lane, and a pat down to make sure everything was still in place, she exited the bathroom striding up to the bar. V nodded her thanks to the bartender and stalked off towards the alcove. A guard stood in her way, trying to look intimidating.

V leaned around the guard, glimpsing the infamous Rogue. Different clothes, but still her. She was talking to another woman who was dressed in what V recognized as nomad clothes. The guard moved to the side, giving V a clear path through. As V stepped into the alcove, she noticed how the noise of the bar died down considerably to give its user a comfortable talking volume.

But V knew it was only in her head. Saw him get taken out by Adam Smasher, so I know you got a trail of bodies behind you too. How did you come by that information? Need to find him as soon as possible. Matter of life or death. V winced, she should have known that would be the response. She had no one standing behind her now, except some rockerboy terrorist. She selected one, lighting it up and taking a long drag. She offered one to V, who declined with a wave of her hand. She needed that information to even begin trying to stop the chip in her head from killing her.

She knew she had the dying woman now, and any amount of eddies she wanted. A man poked his head around the large guard, his unkempt hair flying in every direction. Green eyes, which seemed to glow in the dim light of the bar, darted between Rogue, V, and seemingly Johnny before settling back on Rogue. You miss me? He stepped around the guard with an easy nonchalance, hands in the pockets of his red and gold coat as he strolled into the alcove. His dark green shirt hung loosely over a pair of sturdy pants.

Both Johnny and Rogue were now staring at the man, though for different reasons. Rogue glared at him, her arms crossed in anger. The dead rockerboy however watched him with undisguised shock. So was Rogue. Rogue, although appearing young for her age, still looked old to if someone was looking closely. V scanned him with her kiroshi optics, confirming what Johnny said. In fact, there was nothing on him.

Facial recognition returned as unknown, DNA scanning the same thing. Rogue growled at Potter, scooting away from him towards V. Considering you never answer my messages, I decided to visit. V shared a glance with Johnny, hoping they were both on the same page. If Potter was the other client Rogue had spoken of, V would now hold the cards again.

Simple curiosity drove his gaze, and it unnerved the merc like nothing else. Guess we got a… Mutual interest.
